Integrating non-conforming data output into a time sensitive, web-based application can often be a challenge. Creating this for a public display mechanism that is accurate and attractive however is our specialty. Thousands and thousands or people every month rely on timely online data for flight arrivals and departure information from AFL and their FIDS (Flight Information Display System) and we delivered the goods. Our integration and implementation of this FIDS system led to Webmedia Fiji being hired as a consultant to assist with further FIDS integration for major international airports worldwide.

With documented traffic that literally exploded on to a new site with very little pre-existing activity, Social Network growth at massive rates, Videos and Picture views that reach never before seen levels, many overseas media organisations making direct contact, contact databases growing wildly and positive responses coming in one after another, this campaign was a certifiable winner. We covered 13 resorts, 11 tourist activities and nearly countless visitor perspectives in just 5 short weeks with 45 videos produced and loaded quickly generating more than 10,000 views, 18,000 words of blogging, 30,000 picture views, the fastest recorded growth-to-date of every single Tourism Fiji social network, the creation of a massive combined worldwide database and an accompanying email delivery module and last but surely not least, a 49% increase in online traffic over the previous year’s results. And we won’t forget a big heap of local tourism industry goodwill generated from all those that were covered. End result? Twas the Season for a smash hit!
